Summer 2018 Release Notes

The Fixel Summer 2018 release is finally here!

This release has focused on moving to a more scalable infrastructure that can accommodate all of our new accounts (switched from Heroku to AWS if you’re into the nut and bolts).

What’s in it for you?

  1. Faster servers
Our script’s response rate was already fantastically, speedy, but we still wanted more.
This means that users coming by your website will be scored faster and more accurately.
  2. More ML runs
Our servers are not only faster but also smarter. This means that changes and anomalies in user behavior will be identified faster – so you get a more accurate scoring mechanism.
  3. Updated Fixel script
It’s not all about the muscle, it’s also about the brains. We’ve updated our script to integrate with some awesome solutions that we will be rolling out over the next few weeks – Segment, Taboola and more.

What do you have to do?

Existing Segment codes should be upgraded to the new script. The existing script will be discontinued over the next few weeks.

Existing Fixel accounts will be notified with the upgrade details. You are also welcome to grab your updated snippet code directly on the Fixel Console. Simply click on “Get Code” button on the segment you want to update.

Updated code (example)
